When choosing any furniture it is a must to carefully think about the access and proportions as countless mistakes are made. Furniture can be mistakenly chosen without considering whether it will fit into the space or even be able to be delivered without taking a window out!
Planning Before Buying Furniture
Always make a floor plan of the room when you are starting out so you can see how everything you need will fit into your space.
When buying sofas it is very important to decide how you would like the seating to be – too soft can cause major backache and too hard can be very uncomfortable. Any sofa can be just as you like it by choosing the right fillings for the seat cushions.
Feather fillings can be very hard and constantly need ‘puffing up’ and some foam can look too structured. Mixing fillings can give you comfort as well as looking good and easy to manage.
Always take advice if you are not sure.
There is a place in any home for many different types of furniture depending on the use of the room.
Re-upholstery is well worth considering If you have existing sofas that you still love but need attention or an update although remember you are just saving the cost of the frame so only justified if they are substantial.
Contemporary Furniture Trends
Current trends use several different fabrics on one item of furniture which can look very individual and is also very practical if you need to have the seat cushions easy clean.
Whatever your furniture needs may be, we would be delighted to help you with your choice.
