At The Interior Workshop, the well-being of our clients, staff and suppliers is very important to all of us. So I wanted to let you how we will be working due to the COVID-19 situation.
Following UK Government advice, most of our fabric, furniture suppliers and carriers have suspended their deliveries until further notice. Although we can place orders on them we are probably unable to deliver many physical products until the advice changes.
Further, as our retail interiors studio at Woldingham Station is classed as non-essential we are closed for in-person visits until the advice changes.
On a more proactive note, the springtime is normally when we get round to starting new projects. The sunshine seems to energise us with regard to replacing furnishings and furniture and generally freshening up the house…!
So what we are doing already with other clients is working virtually by phone, e-mail, and by video on Facetime, WhatsApp, Zoom etc!. We are planning ahead for when everyone has opened their doors again. Proper planning takes time and what better time to think ahead than an enforced quarantine at home 🙂
